The recent picture of Ranbir Kapoor copying Sanjay Dutt’s style and body language has left everybody awestruck. Sporting Dutt like beard, tika on forehead and receding hairline, Ranbir sports that look of Sanjay where he is coming out of Yerwada Central Jail. The transformation is for an untitled biopic on Sanjay Dutt, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. As per report, 34-year-old Ranbir will don six looks of his senior actor in different phases of his life. “As you can see, I’m in the look of Sanjay Dutt and the movie is 60 per cent complete and soon it will get over. It feels very proud that I’m doing the Sanjay Dutt biopic and I’m very thankful to Vinod sir (Vidhu Vinod Chopra) and Sanjay sir especially,” Ranbir said.

Ranbir has earlier played lot of different roles in his career, but this indeed is the most challenging till now. He has been given 200 hours of recording by Sanjay to get into the skin of his character completely and it seems like the Kapoor lad is leaving no stone unturned to put up his best show for the audience. Shooting for the film began on 14 January 2017 with Ranbir Kapoor, Dia Mirza and other cast and crew.

If reports are to be believed then Paresh Rawal is doing the role of Sanjay’s father Sunil Dutt in the film, Manisha Koirala will be seen as Sanjay’s mother Nargis Dutt, Dia Mirza to play Sanjay’s wife Manyata Dutt. Moreover, Tina Munim will be played by Sonam Kapoor and Karishma Tanna will play the role of Madhuri Dixit in his life. Anushka Sharma is also the part of the film. Ranbir and Anushka have already worked together, not very long ago in the film Ae Dil hai Mushkil which earned them several awards and nominations.
