Hrithik Rohan on June 7 unveiled the first look of his long-awaited period movie Mohenjo Daro. The film is directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, the man behind some of the most brilliant movies, such as Lagaan, Swadesh, and Jodha Akbar.
Mohenjo Daro is an adventure, romance drama, set in the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro. Mohenjo Daro is believed to be one of the largest cities of Indus Valley Civilization.
Yesterday, in a series of tweets, Hrithik shared the poster of the movie with a caption ‘Manifestation of love and power’.

Ashutosh Gowarikar has been working on the movie for more than three years. During this period, he also consulted various archaeologists and historians to solidify the foundation of the movie. The movie, which is all set to release this August, was shot at several locations of Mumbai, Gujrat, and Madhya Pradesh.
