
Body Scrub:
Traditionally, Ayurveda recommends “ubtan” for body care, to cleanse the skin. You can mix together wheat bran (choker), besan (gram flour), yogurt or cream of milk and a little turmeric.
Other ingredients can also be added. For example, you can add orange and lemon peel powder, or almond meal. If you can find a shop selling Ayurvedic dry herbs, you can also add powders of lotus seed, rose petals, neem and tulsi leaves.
Mix the dry ingredients with milk if your skin is dry, while for oily skin, mix them with yogurt into a paste. Then apply the paste and wash it off after 20 minutes, while bathing.

Moisturising Hair Mask:
Mix aloe vera gel with two teaspoons vinegar, one teaspoon pure glycerin and one egg. Mix them together well. Massage lightly into the hair. Wear a plastic shower cap and leave it on for half an hour before washing the hair.
