Technologists have successfully created a screen sample that can produce three-dimensional visuals that do not require that audiences to wear a pair of 3D glasses.
The scientists at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, in collaboration with Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel have prepared an example display screen that will allow you to experience the thrill of 3D movies in theaters without having to wear those James Bond like glasses.
The latest innovation has been developed using special lenses, mirrors, and glasses that altogether will wipe out the use of those horrible glasses. Wearing those glasses for people with low eye vision is really the biggest irk. Now, with this invention, they can watch 3D movies without those irritating, unhygienic 3D glasses.
MIT CSAIL tweeted about the new discovery yesterday from their official Twitter handle.

The technology, which currently is unavailable in the market, is only accessible to researchers, as it is in research and development stage. More developments are required to make it rock-solid for sustainable use.
Interestingly, there is present glass-free 3D screen technology, but that does not support large theater screens. This is for the first time, a technology has been prototyped that can support 3D viewing on large theater screen, claims the scientists at the MIT lab.
