Donald Trump introduced his wife Melenia Trump to the Republican National Convention as possibly the next First Lady of the U.S., and things just started turning into an embracement.
At first, it was a great speech, delivered by Mrs Trump – “packed with poise and confidence”, as declared by the commentators and news reporters at the event. But, later on, there were charges of plagiarism on lady Trump.
According to Trump’ critics, there was an awful similarity between the speech of Melenia Trump and the speech of Michelle Obama, during the Democratic National Convention when Barrack Obama was selected as the Democratic Presidential Candidate in 2008.
Melenia Trump, along with her husband, underwent severe criticism just after a few minutes of the speech. The charges were, a major part of the up and, probably, coming First Lady’s speech sounded exactly like the one delivered by Mrs Obama in 2008 during the Democratic National Convention.
According to various news reports and republicans, these lines in Mrs. Trump’ speech almost matches the speech of Mrs. Obama:
“From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise, that you treat people with respect….”
And, these were the words of Michelle Obama during the Democratic National Convention:
“…..Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values, that you work hard for what you want in life, that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do, that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them…”
