India Beats South Korea in Champions Trophy by 2-1

In a nail-biting match today, India defeated South Korea by 2-1 in Hero Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament in London.

At the Lee Valley stadium, the men in blue squad secured their win and their standing for the championship. After this win, India with 7 points from 4 matches will now take on Australia on Thursday.

Earlier today, Captain SV Sunil hit a goal in the 39th minute of the match, and earns a lead on the rivals. Thereafter, South Korea balanced this lead by hitting a goal in the 57th minute; however, this lead was rescued within a minute by India. Big thanks to the heroic emergence of Talwinder Singh!

Although it was a nerve-racking game for the supporters of both the team, the Indian side was the more confident and dominant side ever since the beginning of the match.
