Following him at spot 56 is Indian steel baron Lakshmi Mittal with total wealth worth $16.4 billion. Wipro Limited (ADR) chairman, Azim Premji is ranked 72 with a fortune worth $12.2 billion.
Four wealthiest Indian women who are also there on the list are Savitri Jindal at the 303 position with a net worth of $5.2 billion. Smita Crishna-Godrej from the Godrej clan is ranked 814th followed by Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw (973) and Leena Tewari (1030), chair of USV India which specialises in diabetic and cardiovascular drugs. They have net worth of $2.5 billion, $2.1 billion and $2 billion respectively.
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has been declared as the world’s richest man for the fourth time in a row with wealth worth $86 billion,up from $75 billion last year.
